Fauna & Flora

Fauna & Flora

Fauna & Flora was born in Madragoa, Lisbon, in 2017 and has expanded now to Anjos, in the building that houses co-worker space Lacs. Restaurant manager Joana Faria thought it made sense to show that food and decor can merge into a space full of greens and wholesome food. Joana pays attention to many details and so the ceramic dishes come in different colors and shapes to match the colors of what is served here. Both venues are filled with plants and flowers (Flora) and has a lot of wooden furniture. The restaurant is not vegetarian, although vegetables and fruit are abundant on the menu. The idea is to offer healthy options and honest food.

Fauna & Flora serves all day healthy brunch, or you might want to call it brinner (breakfast for dinner). On the menu different bowls can be found, from curry bowls to granola bowls, toasts (of course also avo toast) and hamburgers. But the all time stars of Fauna & Flora are the pancakes: tall and fluffy, in various versions and served all day long. From oatmeal and banana with Greek yogurt and home-made jam to matcha with lemon curd. If you are not much of a sweet tooth, there is also a savory version with crispy bacon, starry egg, maple syrup and caramelized onion. As for drinks there is a wide array of natural juices, smoothies, alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and wines.
